Jordan Frailey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #114188) practicing in-person and virtually in Southern California. Jordan has been licensed in California through the Board of Behavioral Sciences since 2019, with her pre-licensure work as an MFT Associate beginning in 2014. Jordan holds a Bachelor’s of Art Degree (B.A) in Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California, and a Master’s of Arts Degree (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University.

While at APU, Jordan was awarded the “Clinical Excellence” award in 2015 for her therapeutic skills. Jordan has used these skills in a variety of settings as a therapist - with university students at a Bible college, with young children conducting play and art therapy, with first-generation individuals and Victims of Crime (VOC) through a non-profit, trauma-focused mental health treatment center, and also at the IOP, PHP, and outpatient level of care with folks struggling with eating disorders.

Jordan cites her eating disorder work as the most influential. A bulk of her practice is with clients struggling with disordered eating and eating disorders. The complexity of EDs and the suffering that plagues those afflicted has informed much of Jordan’s clinical work. Working with anxiety, depression, and trauma are also areas of clinical interest for Jordan, with a heavy focus on attachment and bottom-up approaches.

Outside of the therapy office, Jordan is an avid soccer fan (go Galaxy!), lover of The Office and Game of Thrones, an aspiring green thumb, and an advocate for naps and comfy clothes. Jordan is passionate about the intersection of art and science that exists within the field of psychotherapy, and gets overly excited when it comes to any mention of existentialism. She sees her clinical work as a privileged experience and is humbled by her clients’ capacity for growth, goodness, and resilience. Jordan is a firm believer in “building longer tables in place of taller fences”. All folks are welcome in her therapy practice.
